Simple RS232/UDP/TCP Client+Server terminal Hercules SETUP 2.7.3 Hercules SETUP is useful utility including terminal for the Serial port (RS232 or RS485), UDP/IP and TCP/IP (Client or Server). Implemented Serial Terminal works with the Virtual Serial Ports, and controls all serial port lines. You can also send macros to the device and log the communication to the file. It's only one .EXE file and no installation is required. It's distributed as freeware.

It´s fine! But the only defect is: it can´t display in hexadecimal the data received. Otherwise it´s great!

Absolutely great!

Guys. The software is working well. The installation went just fine.I am monitoring a data stream and capturing it in a log file. When I open the log file in notepad, I do not see line feeds or carriage returns. The data is continuous, rather than displaying each record on its own line.I have played a lot with the parms (CR/LF, etc). How can I make a better adjustment. Thanks,Don SalterDFW, TX

HelloHercules is very user friendly. It does excatly what I expect from a Port Reader and is very easy to use.I appreciate especially the fact that Hecules gives access to UDP data, which is not common in that type of application.Hélène Burton

I am basically a student currently working on my CCNA certification. I was looking for an alternative to uSoft\'s Hyperterminal. What I most like about Hercules so far is the ability to change paramaters and retest without reinvoking utility. Nice product. User friendly.

Hi,Thank you for a useful program to test TCP transferred messages. I\'ve used it for verifying a PoE-solution based on a Netburner module.- saved me time and works just fineClaus, Norway
